A LONG RUN HAS THIS PROJECT, BUT WHEN I WAS FIRST APPROACHED BY ALEX GULIYANTS ON MARCH 2019 TO RE-DESIGN THE ESCORT BIKE THEY HAD, THE IDEA OF THE PROJECT WAS TO MAKE IT FAST ON 2 WEEKS, SO ONLY THE MAIN FRAME AND THE REAR FRAME. THEN THE SEAT, FRONT FENDER AND FAIRING WERE ADDED TO WORK ON A NEW SHAPE THAT SMOOTHLY BLEND ON THE FRAME. SO I WANTED A VERY SHARP SHAPE THAT COMBINED AS MANY LINES THAT ALMOST INTERSECT WITH EACH OTHER AND FOLLOW THEN EACH ON ANOTHER PARALLEL ANGLE. EVERY SHAPE IS COMPENSATED BY ANOTHER PART. THE BATTERY HOLDER ON EACH SIDE WAS THE BEST ADD ON AS GIVES THE BATTERY A BEVEL, THIS WAY IS NOT FLAT AND SIMPLE AND YET IS PART OF THE WHOLE BODY.
THE IDEA OF THE SWITCH IS BECAUSE OF THE GREAT RESULTS AND THE AMAZING POWER OF BLENDER AND ITS USER COMMUNITY. I WORKED WITH MAXON BUT I START TO FELT LIMITED, WORKING AS AN ARTIST IS ABOUT BEING COMFORTABLE WITH YOUR TOOLS BUT I WASN'T WITH MINES SO IT WAS TIME TO SWITCH. A GOOD RESULT CAN BE SEEN TO ME ON THE FIBRE CARBON THREAD. THE PROJECT WAS ALREADY PRESENTED WITH CINEMA 4D, AT THIS TIME ALL NEW PROJECTs WILL BE DONE WITH BLENDER.
THE BATTERY SIDE LOCK WAS TRICKY ON THE FIRST CONCEPT, SO I DECIDED TO REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF SCREWS, AND TAKE ADVANTAGE ON THE FRAME, SO THE SIDE PANEL SLIDES IN THE FRAME AND THEN LOCKED ON THE SIDE BY 2 SCREWS. THE CONTROLLER CASE WENT FROM WHAT WAS PLANED TO BE UNDER THE SEAT TO BE ON THE FRONT BELLY OF THE BIKE, SO I HAD NO WAY TO AVOID THAT IN THAT PLACE BUT TO MAKE IT BE AS PART OF THE ORIGINAL DESIGN AS POSSIBLE, AND THE RESULT WAS QUITE GOOD.
THE REAR ARM WAS SOMETHING QUITE SPECIAL HERE, AS I WAS ASKED TO DO ANYTHING I WANT WITH NO STRINGS WHAT SO EVER, BUT IT WAS HARD TRYING TO GET THE BIKE THEY WANT AND THEN TRY TO MAKE AN COOL FUTURISTIC PIECE THAT WILL BE PART OF THE WHOLE BUT DIFFERENT FROM THE MARKET TYPES.
THE FIRST PREVIEW OF THE PROJECT WAS AT A BUSY TIME, I MANAGED THE BEST I HAD AT THE MOMENT WITH CINEMA 4D AND USING MY CPU RENDER, BUT THE FIBER CARBON MATERIAL WASNT WHAT I WANTED. IT WAS TOO IMPERFECT BUT I WAS HAVING ALREADY SECOND THOUGHTS WITH THE MAXON AND THE TOOLS THAT TO ME WERE NOT SUFFICIENT. ANYWAYS IT OPENS AN IDEA OF MORE COLORS TO BE USED ON THE FRAME.
THE ORIGINAL WORK PRESENTED ON MARCH 2019 WAS SUPER FAST AND WAS MADE WITH THE THOUGHTS OF A TALLER BIKE THAT WAS AGGRESSIVE AND HAD MANY PLACES TO BE HOLD BY THE HAND, AS THE BIKES ARE SUPER LIGHT THIS ALSO GAVE IT A CRAZY LOOK. THIS WAS NOT THE FINAL PRESENTATION AS THE PROJECT WAS PUT ON HOLD UNTIL FEBRUARY 2020 THAT GOT THE GREEN LIGHT TO BE FINISHED. ALSO ON 2019 THIS WAS A BIKE WITH A SIMILARITY TO THE SAMURAI BIKE OF DENZEL, COMPOSED MAINLY BY BICYCLE COMPONENTS THAT REQUIRED LESS FORCE LIKE THE REAR SUSPENSION.
UNIFYING THE FRAME AND THE TAIL FROM THE BIKE WAS THE NEXT STEP, IN HERE THE TAIL TAIL WAS MERELY DISCONNECTED.
